Electric Motocross Build

This project involved the complete transformation of a 2012 Cobra CX50 into a custom-built electric dirt bike through extensive mechanical modification and fabrication. Starting from a bare frame, the chassis was narrowed and reworked to accommodate newer Cobra body plastics, requiring careful measurement, alignment, and structural refinement. I designed a custom motor mount and supporting components that were precision-machined, while additional brackets and parts were designed and 3D printed to support fitment, packaging, and integration. The build showcases a hands-on approach to engineering, blending CAD-driven design, machining, and rapid prototyping to create a functional, purpose-built electric race bike.
